Inawashiro Numajiri Hot Spring - Numajiri Kogen Lodge -

60 minutes by helicopter from Tokyo! Junko Tabei, the world's first female mountaineer to successfully climb Mount Everest, managed the Numajiri Kogen Lodge. The lodge has been reopened with the name of the lodge as it is. You can fully enjoy the lounge where you can spend time like a home living room, the wood terrace where you can enjoy a glass of wine under the sky in the evening at dusk, and the dishes of the source of the Numajiri hot spring and local Aizu's specialties.

Room

The lodge's only suite with a half open-air bath is a luxurious room where you can enjoy the hot water from the source all to yourself. The room has a high ceiling and is spacious. It is a mature space while keeping the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the lodge.

Food

-Eat right in season for your health As the old saying goes, we carefully select ingredients mainly from within four miles of Numajiri. The ingredients, soy sauce and miso are all organic and pesticide-free. We have reached the ultimate in healthfulness, and our gastronomy is designed to make your plate gorgeous.

Spa

Numajiri Onsen boasts 230 years of history. The hot spring is one of the largest in Japan in terms of the amount of water that comes out of a single natural spring. The strong acidic sulfur spring contains plenty of natural moisturizing ingredients, and you can enjoy the slightly tingling sensation of a hot-spring cure and the slippery feel of an unrefined water bath. In addition, the open-air bath is like being in a forest. If you close your eyes, you can feel the birds' singing and the sounds of the forest, and it is a comfortable and healing space for your mind and body.

Activity

Numajiri Kogen Lodge is located in Bandai Asahi National Park, where mountains, lakes, and forests are interwoven in the park. The area around the lodge is also a treasure trove of nature that changes its expression from season to season. Of course, you are welcome to take a "rest" and do nothing, but you can also enjoy mountain climbing, hiking, hot springs, skiing, snowboarding, golf, and many other activities from the lodge. The lodge is conveniently located about 20 minutes by car from Inawashiro Station on the JR Ban-Etsu West Line.

The fastest way to the Aizu-Wakamatsu area is about 70 minutes by helicopter. Relax and enjoy the scenery.

The helicopter is completely private and the view of the sky is completely reserved for you and only you. On the day of the flight, you will be escorted by an airline pilot as your personal guide. Forget the hustle and bustle of the city and traffic jams, and enjoy a fulfilling sky view.
